Free Roots is a small private school in Helena, Montana, serving Kindergarten through 9th-grade students. We believe in the freedom the Constitution brought us. Prickly Pear Land Trust

PPLT coordinates with public and private landowners in Helena’s South Hills and beyond to create a cohesive, streamlined, and sustainable trails system. On a run, hike or ride in the South Hills, you cross lands owned by the Forest Service, City of Helena, Bureau of Land Management and private citizens, but never leave a PPLT-influenced trail.

Helena Area Friend of Pets

Helena Area Friends of Pets (HAFoP) is dedicated to affordable spay and neuter access, reducing the number of unwanted or uncared for pets in Helena and Lewis & Clark County. Through our voucher program with local veterinarians, we serve pet owners who are unable to afford the normal cost of spay or neuter surgeries. By raising public awareness of the pet over-population problem and providing a means of reducing it, our goal is to eliminate pet over-population. We provide the "fix" to unwanted or uncared for pets!

Explore your way with our many interactive activities and exhibits focused on all things science, technology, engineering, and math. The Helena Cyclones welcomes mountain bike riders in grades 6-12 from Helena, East Helena and surrounding areas. 

Our team philosophy is fun first and our central goal is for students to develop a strong body, mind and character through mountain biking. There are no tryouts. Everyone rides no matter his/her ability and skill level.

Aspen Adult Services

Aspen Adult Services, Inc. is a social service organization operating out of Helena, MT that provides state contracted services to Montanans with disabilities. We offer supported employment services that provide job search assistance,   job placement and on the job supports to people looking to work in the community. The Grove is a day program on site that offers Day Program Services and activities to keep individuals engaged in life and in learning when they aren't as able to work in the community. 

Aspen Adult Services also offers Independent Living Services to Montanans with Disabilities. These services help individuals remain in their own homes by providing laundry help, house keeping, cooking, passing medications, etc. and teaching our clients to live their most independent lives.
